I have played countless of hands of 21. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was sixteen. I have bet on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. With all that said I have still lost a lot of money at 21. The casinos have made it nearly impossible to defeat the game.
I still enjoy the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a type of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get loaded with this method or beat the casino, however you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is founded on the fact that chemin de fer appears to be a game of streaks. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy blackjack. When I don’t win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I do not win again I wager the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Whenever I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the wager back down to the original bet.
I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets extremely exciting at times. If you win a few hands in series your wagers go up very fast. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the MGM a number of years back with $750 after 60 mins using this technique! And a number of weeks ago in Sin City I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can lose a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be astonished at the runs you see wagering this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a 5 dollar table.
Wager five dollar
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the first $5 wager
Wager 5 dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total bet of 10 dollar
Wager $10
Take $10 paid to you, leave the first ten dollar bet
Bet ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Bet 20 dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the original twenty dollar wager
Wager twenty dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Bet 40 dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the first $40 wager
Wager $40
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 80 dollar
Wager $80
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 80 dollar wager
Bet eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $160 wager
If you left at this moment you would be up $315 !!
It is herculean to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can NOT deviate and drop your wager or the end result will not be the same.
