I have enjoyed countless of hands of 21. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was 16. I have wagered on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. With all that said I have still lost all kinds of money at 21. The gambling halls have made it almost impossible to beat the game.
I still like the game and play on a frequent basis. Over the years I have played a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get loaded with this method or defeat the casino, still you will experience a lot of fun. This method is based on the idea that blackjack seems to be a match of streaks. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!
I wager with basic strategy twenty-one. When I lose I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I lose again I wager the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I hit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the action back down to the original bet.
I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets very exciting at times. If you succeed at a few hands in series your wagers go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome runs a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Luxor a few years back with $750 after 35 minutes using this tactic! And a few weeks ago in Sin City I left a table with $1200!
You must understand that you can say good-bye to much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be astonished at the runs you notice wagering this way. Below is a guide of what you would bet if you kept winning at a five dollar table.
Bet five dollar
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the initial five dollar bet
Bet 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Bet 10 dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the first $10 wager
Wager ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Bet twenty dollar
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the first $20 bet
Wager twenty dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $40
Wager 40 dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the first forty dollar wager
Bet $40
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $80 bet
Bet $80
Leave $80 paid to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet $160
Take $160 paid to you, leave the initial 1 hundred and sixty dollar bet
If you departed at this point you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!
It is iffy to go on a run this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and drop your wager or the end result will not be the same.
