Blackjack is a game that reminds me somewhat of a rollercoaster. Black jack is a game that kicks off slowly, but gradually gets faster. As you ramp up your bankroll, you feel as though you are on your way to the top of the coaster and then when you don’t expect it, the bottom drops.
Blackjack is so similar to a crazy ride the similarities are astounding. As is the case with the popular fairground experience, your black jack game will peak and things will appear as though they are going well for a while before it bottoms out again. You most certainly have to be a bettor who can adjust well to the ups and downs of the game given that the game of blackjack is packed full of them.
If you like the tiny coaster, one that will not go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way that you can enjoy the crazy ride is with a much bigger bet, then hop on for the mad ride of your life on the monster coaster. The big money player will love the view from the monster rollercoaster because he/she is not mentally processing the drop as they rush headlong to the top of the game.
A win goal and a loss limit works well in black jack, but very few players adhere to it. In black jack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it’s going up, that’s a lovely feeling, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster starts to flip and turn, you had better bail out in a hurry.
If you don’t, you may not necessarily recall how much you enjoyed everything while your bankroll was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a wicked ride and your head in the air. As you are recalling "what ifs", you won’t find it easy to recollect how "high up" you went but you will recall that disastrous fall as clear as day.
