I have gambled on countless of rounds of twenty-one. I began sneaking into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have enjoyed online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. With all that said I have still lost an abundance of money at twenty-one. The gambling dens have made it very hard to defeat the casino.
I still like the game and play on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have wagered on a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get flush with this method or defeat the casino, still you will have a lot of fun. This method is based on the idea that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of streaks. When you are hot your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!
I bet with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I do not win again I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the bet back down to the original amount.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely thrilling on occasion. If you win a few hands in series your wagers go up very quickly. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Flamingo a few years ago with $750 after 60 mins using this technique! And a number of days ago in Macau I left a table with $1200!
You need to understand that you can give away much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the streaks you notice gamble this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a $5 game.
Wager $5
Take $5 paid to you, leave the initial $5 wager
Wager five dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total bet of $10
Bet $10
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the original 10 dollar wager
Wager 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Wager $20
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 20 dollar bet
Bet 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total wager of 40 dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the original forty dollar wager
Wager 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total bet of $80
Bet 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $80 bet
Wager eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total wager of $160
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $160 wager
If you left at this point you would be up $315 !!
It’s herculean to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and drop your wager or the final result will not be the same.
