I have gambled on millions of hands of chemin de fer. I began sneaking into the gambling dens when I was 16. I have played online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. Given all that I have still spent a lot of cash at chemin de fer. The gambling dens have made it very hard to beat the house.
I still like the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over the years I have played a type of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get rich with this tactic or defeat the house, nonetheless you will experience an abundance of fun. This tactic is built on the idea that chemin de fer appears to be a match of runs. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I don’t win I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I do not win again I bet the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Whenever I profit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the action back down to the original value.
I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets very fun sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very fast. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Luxor a few years back with $750 after 20 minutes using this technique! And a number of days ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!
You must understand that you can relinquish a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the runs you notice gamble this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a $5 table.

Take $10 paid to you, leave the first ten dollar wager

Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Wager $20
Take $20 paid to you, leave the original 20 dollar wager
Bet $20
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Wager $40
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $40 wager
Wager forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 80 dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial eighty dollar bet
Bet $80
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager $160
Take $160 paid to you, leave the first 160 dollar wager
If you departed at this point you would be up three hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It is difficult to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and lower your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
